Old enamel sign from the Veeweyde animal shelter in Anderlecht (Belgium). In the old Dutch spelling, "Be kind to the animals, protect them." Made by the Koekelberg NV enamel shop. Probably from the 1930s. In perfect condition. 20 x 30 cm. I've never seen this sign before.
