Toy cartoon projector NIC

Very nice NIC projector for cartoons. This probably dates from the 1950s and is in very good and complete condition. The device is in its original box with a number of accompanying films. Dimensions of the box are 31.5cm x 18cm x 16cm. The Ciné Nic, the original model, is Spanish. It was built from 1931 by Tomàs and Josep Nicolau Griñó, paper manufacturers and authors of the patent that was applied for on April 25, 1931 in Barcelona. In 1896, grandfather Tomàs Nicaulo Riba founded a wallpaper industry in the Catalan capital, which then focused on tracing paper and the next generation transformed into a toy factory. This machine would come in many versions, including a sound version, the Nic Sonoro, in 1934, the Nic Television in 1951, which would gain sound in 1953 with the Nic Television Sonoro, and the motorized Super Nic in 1969. The company would close in 1974.
