Art Deco ashtray from the 1930s designed by Demeyere. Belgian manufacture, the metal consists of chromed brass and the plastic parts are made of bakelite. Bauhaus design. At the top of the ashtray is a holder for matchboxes. The inside of the ashtray has a crack, as can be seen in the detail photo. The ashtray has clearly lived and has a beautiful patina. The foot also shows some light dents. Total height 71cm
