Philips desk lamp, Bijou from Louis Kalff 1950's

Mid-century desk lamp 'Bijou' - Louis Kalff Iconic tripod desk lamp with a round, UFO-shaped shade. The metal shade and stem are painted a dark blue-green. The tripod is finished in gold. The desk lamp is the Bijou model, a 1955 design by Dutch designer Louis Kalff (1897-1976) for Philips and inspired by the Evoluon in Eindhoven. The desk lamp was produced in the 1960s and 1970s. The lamp uses an E27 socket (bulb not included). The desk lamp is in vintage condition with some paint damage to the leg due to age. The shade itself is in perfect condition. There is a small crack on one of the legs, causing the lamp to tilt slightly. Dimensions: height 32 cm, lampshade diameter 28.5 cm.
